Christmas morning.

Here we are on Christmas morning. Amber and Jake thought that the funnest thing to do was pop the bubble wrap. It was very loud but they had a blast.
Here are the kids at the top of the stairs waiting to see if Santa came to their house.

He did!! He brought Amber a gymnastics mat. Every one of our kids use it every day! Tyler got a motorcycle. Jake got a train with a waterfall.
And Allie got a Nintendo DS. She loves a game where you take care of a dog.

I can hardly believe it is already over. Dave and I didn't get anything for the kids because they get a suprise trip while they are off track. We will leave in the middle of January.

Christmas traditions.

We have had fun with our Christmas traditions. Here we are on Christmas eve reading the story of Christ's birth.
The kids made a gingerbread house. Tyler is saying gingerbread kid!
Here is their cute house. It was hard for Allie to let Amber and Jake put candy where they wanted, but I think they did a great job.

We spent an evening with our friends the Stocks, and the kids had a gift exchange.

We love the fun things that we get to do around Christmas time!!

Christmas Time!

This is Allie and Amber in their pretty Christmas dresses.
The kids had to make sure that our dog Chloe was in a picture.

Tyler and Jake were very excited to wear suits. Ty had been begging for one for a long time.

We had a great Sunday before Christmas. The kids sang 'Picture a Christmas' with the primary in Sacrament meeting and Emily sang 'Oh Holy Night'.

Amber's Preschool Christmas Program

Amber had her preschool program. Grandma and Grandpa Biddison came with our family on a very snowy day to watch her.
They sang lots of Christmas songs.

This is two of the classes from the New Castle school singing together.

She tried not to smile when she was singing. It was really cute.

Crystal candy.

The kid's were so excited because Dave figured out how to make rock candy. The kids call it crystal candy. It takes a few weeks to form the crystals but the kids were very excited when they could finally eat them.
Tyler with his Jazz tatoo on his cheek.
Amber is ready for a taste.

Jake was so excited!!

Allie as happy as ever.

Amber and Jake having fun.

I thought it was so funny one day when I was putting the laundry away and Amber and Jake decided to have fun with the baskets. They were in their pajamas and here they are pretending to sleep with smiles on their faces.
Peek-a-boo.

Where did they go?

This is Ambers Dance recital. She did an excellent job. Her dance was to When Christmas Comes to Town. It is a song in the polar express. She does the dance for our family all of the time. She remember's most of it by herself.
Here are Amber and Jake after the performance.

She is definately our little poser. She loves it!!

Jakes preschool thanksgiving program

Jake had a preschool thanksgiving program and feast.

They sang cute songs and most of the time he just stared at the parents while the other kids sang. He would occasionally sing when he was looking at us.

Dave, Amber, and I went to watch him. Grandma and Grandpa Biddison came too.

This is his teacher Mrs. King. She loves the kids and is an excellent teacher.

Ambers gymnastics party.

Since Amber lives in her gymnastice clothes; we decided to have a gymnastics party for her. Her babysitters Lacie and Madi came and brought gymnastics equipment to our house and the girls had a blast.
Amber had a gymnastics girl cake!
They walked on the balance beam, did tricks and played games.

Two of her friends didn't want to be in the picture, but they had so much fun. They were all very happy.

Here is Amber jumping onto the mat with Lacie. She is finally 5. The day after her party she came to me and said, "Mom do I get to go to kindergarden on Monday because I am 5 now?" She was so disapointed when I told her that she has to wait until next year.

Tyler's basketball game.

Tyler had his first basketball game. He is on a team of first graders this year.

He has so much fun.

Dave took him to this game while I worked. He walked in and said, "Mom I made 3 three pointers. Isn't that awesome?" He was really excited!

Jake's 3 year old birthday party!

Happy birthday Jake! He got to have 6 of his buddies over for his first friend birthday party! He got so excited about every present.

Here are his friends sitting on the fireplace at the party.

He had a cars party. The boys had a hard time making a dent in the pinata; so Dave finally cut a few small holes to help them!

I made cupcakes for the party.

What a big boy! We can't believe that he is our baby. It is so fun!

Snow day

The kids and I made a snowman. It was really fun!

Can you believe that it snowed? Jake and Dave played in the snow while the kids were in school. Amber woke up and said, "Mom, now that it snowed, does that mean Santa will come tomorrow?" I told her that she hasn't even told him what she wants from him yet. She was fine with waiting after that.

They made a snowman and Jake wanted to show everyone!!

Jakes white shirt

Jake has decided that he wants to wear a white shirt and tie to church like Tyler and his dad.
