Carving Pumpkins

We had fun carving pumpkins.  We also made cookies.

Tyler and Amber loved carving pumpkins.  Jake and Allie thought it was gross!!

Visit with Uncle Adam

Uncle Adam came to Utah for a visit.  Here he is with Amber after her play group party.

We went for a run and then out to lunch.  We took the kids to Classic Skating and watched them have a blast.  Then Adam went to the fire station with Dave and went on some calls.

We had a fun time.  It was great to spend time with you Adam!

Haruka, our Japanese exchange student.

We had a foreign exchange student come and stay with us for a little over a week. She would get picked up around 6:30am and get home around 4pm. She was so much fun. Haruka is brilliant. She speaks very good english and is only 9 years old. We took her and her friend Ayaka to the fire department. Ayaka's dad is a firefighter is Japan.
She couldn't believe how many bikes and fun things that we have.
Every day she would walk in and say, "May I please play?" Then the kids would go outside and play in the back yard.
She gave us all gifts. This is Emily's. We took her to gardener village to see the witches. She loved a sugar candy. Most of our candy was too sweet for her though. We really had the best time with her. We are so glad that we had that opportunity!!

Brown Hair

I colored my hair brown.  It is the darkest color I have ever had.  It looks very different.  I like it for now, but it won't last long.  That's what happens when you are a hairdresser.
